Report of Poster Making Competition-2023

A slogan writing competition was organised by AIDS Awareness and Public Health Society of Post Graduate Government College, Sector- 46 Chandigarh on 18^th  September, 2023 on the topic “Eradicate AIDS” to celebrate HIV/AIDS and Ageing Awareness Day. Many students participated in the competition enthusiastically. The entries were judged by Dr. Sumeet Gill from the Department of English. The purpose of the event was to spread awareness regarding AIDS amongst youth. The first prize  was won by Ms. Rinki of BA ll, Roll  No. 1814/22  , Second  prize by Ishika Kumari of BA lll Roll no 7371/21 and the Third prize   was won by Amit Sharma of B Com l , Roll No 583/23 and Raghav Sahota  of BAlll Roll No 7111/21.

Student Participation in Chandigarh Red Run (5 KM)

05 students of Post Graduate Govt. College, Sector-46, Chandigarh participated in RED RUN (State Level Merathon) on 10th September 2023 organized by Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.

1. Dr. Desh Raj, Convener of the AIDS Awareness and Public Health Society participated in the AIDSCON-12, a Two days national conference organized by the Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society held on 10^th and 11^th March, 2023.

Quiz Competition on topics such as HIV/AIDS Awareness, Adolescent Health, Blood Donation, Mental Health

1. The AIDS Awareness and Public Health Society of Post Graduate Govt. College, Sector-46, Chandigarh organized a Quiz Competition on topics such as HIV/AIDS Awareness, Adolescent Health, Blood Donation, Mental Health on 28^th October, 2022.  Total 21 students attended the programme and total 05 teams participated. On the behalf of four questions rounds, the Team-D won the first position.
